Courtroom Services

Deputy Sheriffs in Courtroom Services are responsible for individuals in custody management, courtroom decorum, and security in the courts and courthouse entrances.

Every person entering the courthouse is required to go through security and submit to a search.

Individuals that attempt to bring in, by concealment, weapons, contraband, narcotics, or other controlled substances will be arrested.

The priorities of courtroom deputies include securing individuals in custody brought in for court, judicial security, and ensuring that proper courtroom decorum and etiquette are followed.
